New yumi bow

Hey guys,

Here's a yumi bow i just got done making. It's 100% ash, since there isn't bamboo in wyoming. Here it is

...

It's 7' , draws 63# @ 26"

How far can it shoot?Is it harder to draw?

Ash is a real good choice for a bow, since it is strong, springy, and tends to be straight grained. Good job Grin

Shoots about 200 yds with a fairly light arrow. It's kind of akward to draw

Yumis generally have a straight ish upper limb and a recurved lower limb. Looks good. Is that your first bow? How did you measure the draw weight?


Where did english go to all of a sudden? He'd liked to have seen this..
