Double stone ?

Has any one got to in the air at once yet. You know throw one reload and hurl another before the first hits.
I was haveing a ball trying this yesterday. Never quite got the job done. Got really close Got several in the pouch before the first thundered to the ground. Just never quite got the second launched. and yes All of the first shots were high loping shots. all right every one have fun ta ta and tootles for now lol

Reply #4 - Sep 3^rd, 2005, 12:44pm What about a situation like the old chain shot? 2 stones fastened together, when launched should ( in theory) seperate and begin to whirl in the air like a helicopter blade. Sailing ships used to fire off chain shot to take out the mast of an opponent's ship. ( and anything else that got in its way)

A sling can be used much like a cannon. Explosive shot, grape shot, chain shot, and regular stone shot can be used in both.
Two in the air? I'm certain that it's more than possible. I can get six arrows into the air at a time, and there are people on this forum who can shoot much quicker with a sling than an archer can shoot a bow. And a sling has longer range, so more time in the air. I'd assume that getting two in the air is fairly easy.

The second stone a fast over hand straight pitch. now if i could get both in the vicinity of the target i would be happy

Reply #13 - Nov 6^th, 2005, 8:52am well Assuming The first shot was a hard high one then there should be time to get off a second shot. I'll let you know when it gets light in the evenings again :-( As for hitting a target with both shots - yeah well, lets hop before we try to hurdle eh :-)
