flaming arrows

does anyone know how to make flaming arrows? A friend and i tried using paper towels soaked in lighter fluid, but it goes out in the air.

or u can tie a firecracker on ur arrow and get a friend to light it and when u shoot it
it will go boom Smiley

Sorry I can't help you with the flaming arrows but it's awesome when you put firecrackers into the potatoe just before firing it out of the potatoe cannon. The explosion lights it and in mid-air "it will go boom"  Grin

Tie a cotton cloth securely around the end of your arrow and dip it in the grease from cooking bacon (aka animal fat).  Now you can have bacon and flaming arrows  Wink.

Looks like Mikael follows the Dan Quayle spelling guide.  lol, sorry.
  Pitch and gunpowder is the traditional medieval flaming arrow mix.  Just daub it on the end of the arrow, light it, and shoot.

well my guess is that he is a boy  in his teens..and that pretty  much covers it Smiley chances are common sense will win over at the end or he will try to be safe we hope. So dont worry about it too much, i like asking about this kind of stuff becase its fun to read.  Smiley
