I have this funny image in my head of an army of slingers performing that cast...and the enemy stunned and frightened trying to find out what just happened...before the ammo hit them! You rock man!

In these videos I was slinging real rocks at the ocean, even at less-than-full-power the rocks were hardly visible.

Perhaps some fluorescent orange paint on your stones would keep them visible for some long range shots. Can you show how you throw for accuracy? I do not think anybody filmed any of the Guinness World Record slinging attempts. However, here is a link to a

photograph of David Engvall winding up for one of his tosses

larger copy of the same photograph

(warning, it is 1.2 megabytes). He holds the current Guinness record, having slung a metal dart 1565 feet, 4 inches in 1992. He displaced Larry Bray, who slung a stone 1434 feet, 2 inches in 1982.
