TOPS tracker knife
Dec 25th, 2004 at 1:58pm

I've been toying with the idea of making one of those tracker knifes but have run into some problems. Mosty the problem is in the scale. The computer I'm useing won't let me get the pdf book from Tom Brown Jr. site... Granted I'm not trying to make an exact copy but it would be handy for reverse enginering. From what little I've gleaned from the pics(and seeing "The Hunted" twice) I've got a couple of ideas for improvements.
Anyway... I was wondering if anyone had one and would mind taking some mesurements for me.
  Thanks

Gun,
Look up Tops Knife Co. and the "tracker knife" is under "sportsman/survival" ...or Tom Brown Jr. and his web store.  Anyway I got the basic idea on how the thing supposed to shake out of the box....I'm not one that likes boxs or the idea of dropping 300 bucks on something I can build myself.... I'll go with what I've got  and try and post some pics of my homebrew hybred when I get back.
I'm still wondering what others think of this blade,(the sorce aside). I'll keep my coldsteal bushman handy till then, after all at $11.50 (not including time spent on making a good sheath) it a lighter and easyer weapon to deal with Wink
