I just buy river rock from Chandler Rock. I am no adict. I just climb up on top of the rock pile and hand pick rocks. THen I put them in my trunk and pull onto the scale. They weigh, I pay. That reminds me of the time I smuggled a large piece of dinosaur bone from a hadrosaur tibia back in my pants across the canadian border. I had to take it out when I boarded a plane in detroit, but I told the security guy it was a pieceof petrified wood, and he let me pass.

Now to me....that's just plain exotic. I am salivating over the (totally unrealistic) prospect of a consistent way to produce football shaped obsidian glans.....

I have produced a sling pocket design that shows great promise, which completely avoids ammo contact with the release cord. In several tests thus far, it has failed every attempt to produce a 'miscast' and is an absolute joy to use.

I will get a series of pictures posted hopefully next weekend.
