I imagine you'd have to use the belt like numchucks (spelling?) or a flail, but would be very effective.  I've heard of people also wrapping the belt around their fist as a punching tool , like brass knuckles or something.
I do animal shows, and some of those belt buckles they give out for prizes are seriously like a foot square.
