Was it 40lb. braided spectra cord?   If so, then it may have something to do with your pocket size/design and ammo choice.   I use a star shaped pocket and lead ammo which is allowed to dump clean from the pocket having no contact with the sling cords at all.   Wink

It was a low-stretch braided dacron 40lb icefishing line, maybe <1mm thick & very limp.   It didnt tangle on launch, but it was a mess to keep straight while loading.  And it had to be stored with the lines wound on a spool.   Just all-round tuff to manage.   mgreenfield

This is an other old thread that is too good to be forgotten.

Johnny,
did you ever make those 2a and 2b pictures?
And are the pictures you made for the spanish site still online? All links too them I found so far are dead.

Johnny,
I took time this weekend to learn this technique
After getting over the beginning awwardness of swithching directions I find that I like the power of this under hand style. In my version It seems to be a cross of under hand and side arm. Is that similar to yours Johny?

Lobohunter,
You're right, it is a mixture of under and side arm. What is your main style?

Willeke,
What do you mean by 2a and 2b?

Thanks,

Johnny

Thanks Tech!
I think it needs more frames between 2 and 3 also. The attire is just fiction! I wanted the sketches to have an "ancient Greek" feel to it!
Johnny

I did just number those for you.
