Anybody happen to know what the Spanish word for Sling is?

Sling is "la honda" (pronounced without the h) and slinger is "El hondero" 8)

my spanish teacher said it was "Tirachina"for sling but im probly wrong

I suppose that would depend upon what kind of sling.  The weapon is the one above...I'll have to wander over to the dictionary to check out "Tirachina".
