Das effekt des Pfeifens von Kugeln und summenden Steinen aus 1000 Schlingen wäre absolut furchterregend :o

You will get these sounds if you use very bad rocks, elongated, edged, and you can enhance them with a narrow grip which creates even more friction. I wouldn't use nice slings for it since it creates a lot of wear.

Also drilling a hole through good ammo will make it whistle.

You know what slinging sounds like at my house? It soulds like this:

"Dad. Dad. Hey Dad! DAD! Hey DAD!..."
LOL
I tried to film a practice session a couple days ago, and I got 4 shots in before my 1yo grabbed the camera, pulled it down on top of himself, hit his head, and started crying. That's all the slinging I had a chance to do that day :)

No worries though. In a few more years my boys will be old enough to sling with me, and I will be one proud papa :)

I first noticed a massive noise when I started slinging chunks of decayed wood, not much mass in them but lots of spin and rough edges, makes a star wars sound effect for sure.
