Title: Woomera

I am amazed by  how well their darts are flying considering they are unfletched, they almost seem to rifle the darts?

I started making one of these years ago, only to later lose interest and let it go unfinished (as I do with many things). I hadn't realized their darts were unfletched. I may have to revisit this project sometime.

That's good form.  And balanced tackle.  Feathers on the end are there to correct a poor throw or to make the dart recover faster if you are throwing at short range.

I found a video that gives a closer look at the equipment. A bit old and cheesy, but informative.
