A few days ago I mistakenly clicked on the members button while trying to change something in my profile. Imagine my surpirse when I saw how long it’s been since I joined. Ten years ago to the day I joined Slinging.Org. I definitely feel I got the better end of that deal lol. Thanks for all the good times guys/gals.  :D ;)

in 2010 was probably my first contact with slinging.

You guys are awesome... We’ve had some really good people come and go but I feel like the core group we have right now are some of the best we’ve ever had. Thanks for your comments. I swear I didn’t tear up a little. Had nothing to do with the gin and tonic I was nursing either.

I am guilty of this  (lurking, not posting, I only have 200 some posts and joined in 2008).  I second CA's opinion!!! I always look to read what opinion you have on something and always appreciate your feedback on just about every subject, even those conversations I'm not participating in. You truly do add a lot to this forum.

I second that also, Morphy is a great bloke with a good perspective on a lot of subjects, he personally helped me evolve my bushcraft skills like bow making and mushroom hunting, and even put up a good fight in some online chess battles !!

I think he needs to be added to the hall of fame!!

Congrats! I really do love this community that's been built up and yeah, people come and go, but it's nice to have such a great group of "regulars" that are so knowledgeable on such a vast array of subjects which you are definitely a part of Morphy. Cheers!

Congrats Morphy!  I agree with your sentiment. This forum has had its share of churn in members over the years, but the current mix of new and old (or in your case... REALLY OLD) members right now is really great.  There’s always something new and interesting to discuss, and somehow we manage to all remain (mostly) civil and encouraging.
