Title: Strongest knot for tying a pouch Post by Jauke on Mar 18th, 2020 at 8:31am
I was looking for a stronger knot for tying the cords to my pouch.
So far the best knot I used was... the same knot I used for the fingerloop. Never had any problems of this knot going loose on me. And it's so beautifully simple and rugged. A good slinger needs full confidence in his sling for a good throw, knowing your knots won't fail you is very important |

Here’s a higher contrast stitch example. I put several contrast features on the release cord so I don’t grab the retention cord accidentally during reloads:

use a loop. Not only is it unbreakable, but it holds the pouch flat and grips the side of the pouch making it almost impossible to tear the eye hole.

Why didn't I consider that for the staff sling!? I've been worrying that the pouch eye is far too thin and small (was originally a hand sling pouch) and this is a perfect way to counter it. Thanks!
