As mentioned in the other thread http://slinging.org/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1578870986/6#6, I'm looking to giveaway 7 slings and thin down my collection a little.

I think best way is probably first come first served. I've listed them below with pics.

As a sidenote if you are looking to buy a sling I'm also open to offers on others in my collection as seen in the other thread, though some are my core use slings and others have sentimental value so can't guarantee they'll be for sale!

1) Paracord + Leather pouch (boat style)

28" pouch ctr to fingerloop
4.5" pouch
Release knot

Pretty decent all rounder leather pouch. Has some reinforcement whipping of nylon and polyester.

2) Jute Rockman with paracord woven pouch
23" pouch ctr to finger loop
4" pouch
Release cord
Shorter for target practice, has some nylon cord braided into the last bit of release cord. The paracord pouch is good for all weather ammo  :P

Not the neatest sling but pretty functional and comfortable to use.

3) Woven Split Pouch:

31" from pouch ctr to fingerloop
6" pouch
Release knot and cord

One of my earlier attempts at a woven split in this style. It worked out pretty well though on reflection the pouch could be a little bit longer for large ammo. Longest sling of the bunch so good for more range type slinging.

4) Nylon Apache:
Length 24"
Pouch 4.5"
Small release knot
Really nice flowy feeling sling, it's a bit thinner and faster than most of the natural counterparts. Woven super comfortable fingerloop. There is a bit of twist right at the thin end of the release cord (it doesn't impact slinging).

5) Sisal Apache 1:
26" length
4.5" pouch
moderate release knot + cord
Nice all rounder apache very comfortable and fun to use. Has extended (balearic style) leather covering to prevent release cord wearing. All the sisal slings have leather sewn fingerloop coverings.

beefy release knot
Similar dimensions to previous but this is built thicker with really solid construction and beefy release knot. Ideal for heavy rock throwing.

This is very kind of you judop.
As much as these slings are beautiful and I would love to add them to my collection I feel that there is likely some other forum members who would benifit from these works of art more than I.
So I just want to thank you for being a generous soul and contributing to our slinging community .
If no other members come foward to collect these several slings I'll be glad to take whatever remains however I feel they will all be snatched up swiftly.

I did hesitate slightly thinking maybe someone else should be getting the chance at a JudoP sling but I really do love the one I got originally. I know for a fact, I'll be using this one until it's dust.

That's fair enough giving beginners a chance for a look in.

Please, it's no bother. They are not my best slings and some have minor damage or other flaws. I wouldn't feel right charging for them! I'd rather they be out there than languishing in a bag. Consider them free samples ahead of me eventually getting round to setting up an Etsy shop!

Well, yes. I will charge for them, but only ones that I'm sure won't break down or have annoying flaws. I've got my sling makers reputation to look after anyway  8-)

I need to finalise a good couple of designs that are reliable and last for a long time, and also that don't take weeks to make  :D

Just showed up in the mail. Beautiful work Judo!

Mine came in as well.  Great stuff JudoP!  I tried a couple throws right away, although it was dark outside.  I can't wait to go through a normal session when I can see. :)

Darn I'm jealous. I'm still waiting on mine but maybe tomorrow. I want to get some practice in with it before Mallorca.
