About 1200 of these found. Some of Philip II, other in an arsenal in the city.

1200 glandes...
almost enough for one afternoon of Jaegoor's training! ;D

As for me, I'm 2500 years late, or so, but her's my contribution to the effort of war.

Come to think about it...
Historical clay glandes consistently seem  to have a 1:1.8 or so (am I wrong? just  my impression)

I tend to make them more like 1:2.5, with lots of vatriations. seems to fly well for now...

What's your ratio of choice? and why?
Long glandes don't feel less stable to me, but again, my experience is quite limited...
