Title: Nålbinding Jute

So it turns out you can use jute in nålbinding :D I started this as an experimental test piece but I'm now thinking it could make a sling ammo bag (yeah I have plenty of ammo bags but this one well look super cool and be homemade to boot). I'm also wondering what other things I could make using jute like this. Any suggestions?

That looks awesome.Any kind if pouch for bushcraft. Forage bags, tinder bags.

I was thinking at first maybe for my flint and steel then realised it was going to be way too big. This one is better for a ammo bag but I think I'll make another one pretty soon. I'll have fingertips of iron!

Nice! But I have a question, how did you learn Nålbinding? Looks like an interesting hobby.

Cool :) Looks like you could make a jute belt without too much trouble. A how to maybe?

A belt could work but would have to be cut in half do it could be tightened. Nålbind works by making spirals although it is possible with some stitches to make flat pieces.

The pouch is now complete but I haven't had time to get photos. I'll be posting them up soon though.
