Title: Freehand braiding: 16 strand round hollow hair braid Post by Teg on Dec 18th, 2018 at 4:47pm
As I most probably will not find any time for crafts over christmas, here is a little pre-christmas present for the braiding enthusiasts amongst you (which I know there are ;) ).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQCrdc6ny14 The braid is a bit trickier to make freehanded than your average flat, round or square braid. I do recommend some stiff material, such as horsehair or thin plastic thread. Wire might work as well, but I haven't tried that. Enjoy! |

I like the braid, it's definitely different that what we are used to seeing. So I know you are continually progressing in your braiding skills but do you have one sling you have made that you would say is your best sling in terms of braiding skills? And do you have one you feel is your best sling in terms of accuracy potential? Just curious.

Regarding complexity that would be the grey-white-brown woolen one I posted around middle of May. http://slinging.org/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1172017416/5289#5289 Morphy wrote on Dec 18th, 2018 at 9:39pm:
The one above is not in there ;). There are a couple slings which I like equally. All of them are balearic-style split braids. |
