I had some nice hits today on a metal pole. That one stone flew another 25 meters and hit the slope about 4 meters high.
Pretty impressive!
Anyone else has some pictures of such kind?

I already posted this on another topic, but this was 15/32” OSB. This is the back side where the rock started to break through.

I posted these a while ago but I got a pretty huge metal pan which I've used as a target and I tried throwing one of these plumb bobs which almost pierced all the way through.

What he said. It’s a lot like plywood but it doesn’t warp when wet like plywood does. Plywood is probably slightly stronger, but I’ve never tested them side by side.

Do these streamers on the lead projectile not slow it down ?

I put a steamer on mine just to help find out after throwing it. I feel it also helps it fly straight. It probably does slow it down but it still hits pretty darn hard :D

Hey!

As long as I'm publishing my very first pictures here, here's a cool one. The stone went some 10 or 15 meters past the target, and stuck in a log. Don't get excited, the wood was competely roten, so it's no wonder in the impact... Still I like it...
