I really love this forum and the people on it and want to make a shirt for myself. Could anyone get the logo for me? Like just the logo preferably so that on a white shirt it wouldn't just be a rectangle with the logo on it, it would blend. You know what I mean?

What you actually need to do is load the bitmap image into a good drawing program and convert it to a vector image. With it being 2 colour that should work quite well. Can't remember what i used lasat time I did a conversion, don't think it was gimp
It can then be resized with no loss of detail.
Actually looking at what I've got installed on this machine - could well have been gimp.

I will be having a chat with Roman from Fokai to see about them doing a range of slinging.org t-shirts and other goodies in the near future.
I'll also want International Federation Of Slingers merchandise as well at some point.

They may be based at the arse end of nowhere - but they already have an international clothing company and do post stuff all round the world.

In the meantime - feel free to use the logo. I don't actually like it anyway. Looks like a man with a lariat :-)

I always enjoy your humorous posts Morphy. ;D Keep at em. As for the logo, if you don't like it why not commission a new one? This is like, the database of slinging, and it the logo should represent the awesomeness of the sling (I do agree that it can be confused for things other than a sling). There are places where artists do them for cheap. Like fivver, I've looked into that site since I'm thinking of starting a slinging YouTube channel soon and was looking to have a custom logo made. People have made some  pretty cool logos starting at 5$. And kinda off the topic of logos, but there are some pretty funny things people will do for just 5$... Also, we have people here who can make beautiful slings, surely they would make a nice logo that embodies what we are all about? I think this would be the best option as one who has never used a sling or is not into it may not represent it correctly.

I really wanted to do it with the primitive cave painting one. I think Masi has a good file of that one. Can anyone share it?

the best thing to do would be to first have new logos  then vote for the best

I already have a much much better one - but thats reserved for the ifos.
We've had lariat man for 14 years, i've learned to live with him :-)

The catal hyuk image is used by jaegoors german group, and given that jorn replicates it perfectly when he throws - can't use that either.

Look up wyoming 2007 in the archives and you'll see what i intend to use for ifos.
