Hello, everyone.

I received a new laptop computer, an HP Notebook running Windows 10, and while it works very well in general, I just attempted to quote someone's post in the general slinging forum and for reasons I don't know, neither of the quote buttons worked.

Eventually, I simply copied and pasted the text I wanted to quote, and then I added a simple set of "quote" tags (but I couldn't remember how to add the name of the poster I was quoting).

If anyone knows what the cause of this problem is, and whether there's something I can do to rectify the problem, please let me know. Thanks!

well your biggest problem is most likely windows 10.
It's hand down the worst os microsoft have ever released.

Try using firefox as a web browser rather then Edge (which is seriously buggy).

Also check what forum template you are using - that makes the most difference:
