A video we made last week. We were aiming for the oak tree and also filmed ourselves slinging in unison. (That was the plan but he outpaced me by two throws. A Balaeric requires more time to adjust the rock versus a full pouch.)

We've been brainstorming and with the assistance of our slinging proteges we have plans for awesome videos to film soon.

Looking like a fun time!you guys are lucky to have a slinging partner. Most of us sling alone haha
You guys look better at fig 8 than helicopter btw

I know what you mean Tomas, the more the merrier. My best friends have been slinging with us for years, and at the moment, we're looking at the addition of at least five more slingers to the fold.

I'll have to keep your observation in mind. We generally have had little practice with fig 8, but the camera angle prevented us from using our regular styles.

Yeah, alone is the way I've done it most of the time, except for some times when a stranger came up to be inquisitive, or when I was doing it off the beach into Long Island Sound while visiting with my sister. ;D

I'm glad about seeing this video, because I had forgotten about that slinging technique. I've settled into using a Figure-8 as my go-to, whereas the technique I saw in this video ... isn't that the one called "Byzantine"? Or is it something else?

Yeah, I've always known it as Byzantine, and for the most part accuracy wise that is my preferred method.

Same for me. Byzantine has always come most naturally.
