logged in 17:18 20-05-16

About 20 or so ip addresses from central paris, all on the same internal network.

Buggers can't sign up and spam us :-)

Usually these mass ip addresses are some university in china, not usually central paris.

Looks like someone's infected a company and the botnet is looking for ways to spam us.

Make that 3 seperate sets of ip addresses.

Okay who pissed the hackers off ?

What sporting events do the French in Paris play at this time of year?

I would look for a sore loser hacking into their system.

dunno but the buggers are still there.

Anyone got an idea on how to work out what they're doing ?

run a traceback on the IP's and see who owns them...?
Can you view what port the connections are coming from? Ports can give you a lot of information.

did that they were all in the centre of paris. Presumably as part of a captive botnet.

haven't seen them around since then :-)
