“INVENTOR  1-4 ”

Definition Of Terms

Slinging Object: For the Purposes of this Merit Award a “Slinging Object” is a physical thing that is related to and/or supports the Art of Slinging in some way whether it be a Sling, Tool, Ammunition or Miscellaneous object.

New: Let’s face it.  With a weapon as simple as a sling, it will be difficult to invent something completely new and unique that has never been done before.  However, For the purposes of this Merit Award, “New” shall mean anything that has been either lost to antiquity, common knowledge, or something genuinely unique.  

Requirements

Level 1: Invent a new Slinging Object. / Post Pics and a description of what the object does.

Level 2:  Invent 2 new Slinging Objects / Post Pics and a description of what the objects do.

Level 3:  Invent 4 new Slinging Objects / Post Pics and a description of what the objects do.

Level 4 (Master): Invent 5+ new Slinging Objects / Post Pics and a description of what the objects do.

“TECHNIQUE INNOVATOR  1-4 ”

Definition Of Terms

New:  Let’s face it.  With a weapon as simple as a sling, it will be difficult to invent something completely new and unique that has never been done before.  However, For the purposes of this Merit Award, “New” shall mean anything that has been either lost to antiquity, common knowledge or something genuinely unique.  

Requirements

Level 1: Invent a new crafting, slinging, promotion, or research Technique that can be shown as an improvement on previous techniques. / Post Pics (If applicable) and explanation of the new technique.

Level 2: Invent 2 new crafting, slinging, promotion, or research Techniques that can be shown as an improvement on previous techniques. / Post Pics (If applicable) and explanation of the new techniques.

Level 3:  Invent 4 new crafting, slinging, promotion, or research Techniques that can be shown as an improvement on previous techniques. / Post Pics (If applicable) and explanation of the new techniques.

Level 4 (Master):  Invent 5+ new crafting, slinging, promotion, or research Techniques that can be shown as an improvement on previous techniques. / Post Pics (If applicable) and explanation of the new techniques.
