i am having a lot of trouble connecting
it says something about not being able to start a new process and i have to reload every page half a dozen times

I'm getting the same as well.

"Unable to start another process (in red)

Maximum number of processes reached, refreshing in 10 seconds." (black with box like the one we type in)

And I have it too. It means the server we're using is getting A LOT of traffic and is backed up. We then have to wait in line to access the server with each new action from each person, spambot, or trawler, etc. trying to get on the server being a new process.

no problems right now, but probably a good chance that something happened during midday. maybe C_A can fill us in. ;) ;) ;)

Hah! I got the same message, but thought maybe my CPU got overloaded. Glad to see that it wasn't my 'puter at fault.

Not a clue, not sure I even logged in tuesday.
Been fine over the holidays as far as I know.

but the first couple of days of new year are huge for internet usage. so could just have been too much traffic.

probably hundreds if not thousands of websites working from the same server.

Yeah I had the same problem yesterday but now it works fine again by me.

lol, i was actually thinking more along the lines that as a site admin you might know what the exact traffic for our forum or the server it's hosted on was that day or something. as you said, it could have just been a lot of traffic.

Nope - not a clue :-)

Could probabbly find out - but no real incentive to do so every day.
