I've always been interested in slings and ballistics, I hope I can contribute to this place. I have a simple sling made of paracord and a leather pouch, I made for fun, but I hope to make a ballista over the winter.

Welcome and I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do. Slinging is great addictive fun, just don't freeze to death out there in your dreaded Canadian winters. Post some details of the ballista when it's finished. Plenty of ballista nuts here too.

I don't go out when its that cold, besides I have a good parka and boots for the winter. ;) When I get the ballista complete, I'll see if my friend will video me launching a snowball.

Welcome to the Forum Maca,

One of our listmembers Yurek has posted a pic of mhim slinging a snowball. It would be intresting to see how a ballista would compare.
