hi people! my name is kelly, im 36, and am new to slinging. i've built 3 slings so far, and they seem to work pretty good. i mainly take them to our nearby lake and fling stones. i got interested in slings through my other new interest of trebuchets and catapults. one day i thought " gee it would be nice if i could take my trebuchet to the lake.." and there you have it. the slings i built are pretty simple, but i'll se if i can get a pic or 2 on here. i love the photo galleries here. they gave me the basic ideas on how to make a working pouch.. thanks!!!

Hello, welcome to the forum! I am curious to see what your slings look like.
I made several braided and woven slings. Recently I got some leather so I am testing slings with a leather pouch, too. Slings tend to breed. But the sling I use most is the one I got from AussieSlinger.

The apache throw just reminded me strongly of a trebuchet throw.
