In other threads, some people expressed an interest in reproducing lead glandes. There are a number of examples in the image database of the Petrie Museum. See here: http://www.petrie.ucl.ac.uk/search/index.html and search for "bullet"

I am now working on my own reproduction of the Petrie sling. My braiding skills are not quite up to the job yet, but my squid-wrestling skills are improving rapidly and I have managed some satisfactory samplers. I will be sure to let you know how I get on, but it all takes time...
